I. Rubber properties

The most important characteristic of rubber is, first of all, its very low modulus of elasticity and high elongation.

Secondly, it has a fairly good resistance to air permeability as well as resistance to various chemical media and electrical insulation properties. Some special synthetic rubber has good oil resistance and temperature resistance, can resist fat oil, lubricating oil, hydraulic oil, fuel oil, as well as solvent oil swelling; cold resistance can be as low as -60 ℃ to -80 ℃, heat resistance can be as high as +180 ℃ to +350 ℃.

Rubber is also resistant to all kinds of flexing and bending deformation because of the small hysteresis loss. The third characteristic of rubber is that it can be used with a variety of materials, blending, compounding, and thus modified to obtain a good overall performance.

These basic properties of rubber make it an excellent material for vibration damping, sealing, flexing, abrasion resistance, corrosion resistance, insulation and adhesion in industry.

Second, the classification of rubber

1, according to the appearance of rubber, rubber can be divided into solid rubber (also known as dry rubber), emulsion rubber (referred to as latex), liquid rubber and powder rubber four categories.

2, according to the source of raw materials and methods, rubber can be divided into natural rubber and synthetic rubber two categories. The consumption of natural rubber accounts for 1 / 3, synthetic rubber consumption accounts for 2 / 3.

3, according to the performance and use of rubber, in addition to natural rubber, synthetic rubber can be divided into general-purpose synthetic rubber, semi-general-purpose synthetic rubber, special synthetic rubber and special synthetic rubber.

4, according to the physical form of rubber, rubber can be divided into hard and soft rubber, raw rubber and mixed rubber.

5, according to the type of rubber and crosslinking form, in industrial use, rubber can be categorized as follows.

A class of heat and oil resistance and other functions are divided into: ordinary rubber, heat-resistant rubber, oil-resistant rubber and weather-resistant rubber, resistant to special chemical media rubber.

Third, rubber seals products

Rubber strip, rubber row, rubber plate, O-ring, rectangular ring, round rubber beads, diamond-shaped rubber beads, square gasket, oil gauge gasket, double sealing ring, flange, square box, method of flange, gasket, flat O, rubber barrel, continue the length of the box and so on.
